Both my kids were having fever since on previous Saturday, 14th January 2012. Since that day also we had visited our panel clinic 3 days in a row because their fever just don't wanna subside and on that same time they are having diarrhea and vomiting all together.

Alhamdulillah... on our 3rd visit to the clinic, Doctor had gave us the referral letter to refer them to Specialist Hospital. On that very same day we immediately went to KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital at Section 20 Shah Alam (our family's official Doctor and Maybank panel hospital of course...). Since hubby was working on that day, ME alone with my kids we go to see Dr Ling for further check up on their condition. It seems not so serious but when he checked the heat, it goes 39 degree. After some discussion with Dr Ling, he had decided to warded the kids. Them being isolate from others to avoid the virus from spreading. and here we are, the 2-bedded room is all ours... Abang and Adik katil side-by-side with their own tv.

Second day and kids are still under oral medication. It is my request to Doctor actually to try on oral medication first before proceed with drips. WHY??? because i just don't dare to watch them kena cucuk for drips... kesian LOL :(
However, the fever.. diarrhea and vomiting are still continue with no improvement. Kids were sleeping most of the times due to their unimproved condition...

3rd day, Farisha had showed some improvement. The diarrhea had apparently stop. Still got some of vomiting and the fever is still not stable. It is not easy though to get all those medicines into her throat. Soooo drama queen lar this little girl. Whining macam kena rotan okay. There was one time when i felt so exhausted and thinking of having some fresh air. i left the room in about 10 minutes only then i heard both of them crying looking for me... kejam ehh :)
Both of them are on nebulizer treatment due to bad cough. ME had my very own fever, cough and flu myself huhuuuu :(
tengok lar tuh... pakai nebulizer pon nak buat drama :)

4th day and Faris is still having his fever and vomiting. Anything he consumes will definitely goes out even it is only a plain water. Nothing goes into his stomach since last Saturday. That afternoon Doctor had decided to give him drips and it was not easy also to cucuk him hehehehee

Today, Farisha has now had the appetite to eat and she eats on time hahahaa. Meals sampai jer terus makan takder tunggu2 punya. Only Faris is still having his vomiting... but now at least he can swallow plain water from his bottle. Drip and nebulizer continue still...

Alhamdulillah.... that Saturday night Faris was able to eat without vomiting.. and that was after 4 bottles of drips gone through his vein since Thursday. With that good sign and improvement on Faris' condition, we were sleeping that night with hope that we can go home tomorrow. Insya-Allah

Doctor Ling came as usual that morning at 8.30am. Check on both Faris and Farisha's condition. With a big smile he said that we are going home this afternoon. YEAYYYY lega giler okay dapat balik :)

salam..agaknya time u discharge baru me masuk kot..hihihi..actually my baby (5 mth) mmg follow up dgn dr Ling..(mmg suka lah dpt dr Ling tu)..and baru tadi my baby jumpa dgn dr Ling due to high fever but tak kena warded pun. Maybe dia kesian tgk me yang dah 32 stay kat wad pasal jaga kiddos (sama mcm u..my daughter (dr Yasmin) n baby kena warded in a same room and same ward..hihihi..
hi Sue...dr ling tuh mmg best kan, very caring n suke senyum. my dotter pon dulu ngan dr yasmin but then i changed to dr ling so if anything senang sbb dua2 refer ngan dr ling :)
