Cameron Highland - Day 3

Saturday, 11 June 2011

It is time to go home.
There is one more thing to do before leaving Cameron Highland...need to go to Kea Farm for our last shopping. This is the place whereby you can buy all kind of crops and accessories especially the fridge magnets. Not much but at least we have something to bring back home as memories from Cameron Highland.

If you are planning to go to Cameron Highland for a trip,
try browse at their website CameronHighlandsOnline
They are providing every single detail that you might want to know
prior to your trip.

Cameron Highland - Day 2

Friday, 10 June 2011

Our day 2 started with us visiting the Cameron Valley Tea Plantation just to see how is the Tea Plantation looks like. If you are coming from Tapah exit, I think this is the first place you'll stop for tea time :) You can have your tea time here with their famous scones while enjoying the panoramic views (owwh..I just love their original home made strawberry jam!! ~ yummies).

Farisha dengan pose manja dia heheee..

Then, we continue to our next pit stop at Brinchang town for our lunch of course.. heheee. After lunch, we headed to Butterfly Farm and Strawberry Park. Nothing much can be done at the Strawberry Park as it was raining non-stop till night. However, managed to get myself these though ~ Strawberry with chocolate dipping :)

Cameron Highland - Day 1

Thursday, 09 June 2011

It was already noon when we started our journey for our school holiday trip. This time around, we had planned to give the kids some feel of cool breeze at Cameron Highland and my Parents will be joining us as well.

Our first check point was at Hentian Sungai Buloh since we have not had our lunch yet :)  After about an hour and after the kids had enjoyed their Baskin Robbins, we continued our journey to Simpang Pulai exit toll which took about 2 hours to reached there. It was cloudy and rainy when we were on our way up to Cameron Highland. The road from Simpang Pulai is fantastic and much much more convenience compared to from Tapah exit (I feel safer and secure with no dangerous slope at every corner).

The traffic was quite heavy which maybe due to school holidays season plus the raining. Lots of night market are available along the road from Brinchang up to Ringlet and Tanah Rata. I can see people are enjoying their evening by shopping, shopping and shopping at the market and it is indeed a happening view! Due to the above, we finally reached our abode at 6.00pm.

Actually, this is the first time I managed to get one of Maybank apartment at Villa Dahlia in Cameron Highland as well as for the kids. That night we had our dinner at one of the famous Tom Yam and Ikan Bakar stall in Brinchang town. Guess what? So many hungry people with limited space and parking. Can't even find a place to park our car. Everybody seems happy with dinner except that hubby did not fulfill his craving for "ikan pari bakar". Maybe next time we'll come back for more :)

our dinner  :)

It was already 11.30pm when we went back to our apartment and had a good night sleep with nice cool weather (Farisha is wondering and keep asking where the cool breeze comes from since no aircond is available in the room...heheee)
