School Holiday 2011: Genting Highland ~ Day1

School Holiday Trip
Genting Highland Resort
21-23 December 2011

A second time after that Cameron Highland apartment, i managed to reserve one of Maybank Holiday Group Resort apartment at Genting View Resort, Genting Highland for a 3days 2nights family holiday trip. This time we are with my Parents, Sisters and brother. There are 11 of us including 3 kids having our fun time at the highland.

We started our journey on Wednesday morning around 10.30am. Since the apartment is located down the hill which means less options for foods (only 10 minutes drive from the Cable Car station), Mom is preparing quite a number of foods for our 3d2n stay there. We reached at Genting View Resort around 12.30 noon and had our lunch at the apartment (it is a Kempas Apartment) before boarding to the highland by Cable Car at 2.00pm on that same day.

My lovelies..

Our Lunch

Mom is preparing Nasi Impit with Kuah Kacang, Ayam Masak Kicap,
Tempoyak Ikan Bilis and some Pulut Kuning.

while i brought some serunding daging, breads, peanut butter,
strawberry jam, sardines, chili sause, etc.

The Kempas apartment is quite spacious with 3 fully equipped bedrooms. Each bedroom comes with a queen bed. Full channels ASTRO for viewing and a kitchenette. However, there is no hob for cooking though. So i just use the rice cooker to cook our spicy sardines inside it. i know i know... i am a genius hahahahaa

The adventure begins with Cable Car rides to the top. Scary youuuu.. however, kids are enjoying the rides while adults are sitting still and reciting ayat Kursi in silent mode... baca syahadah siap2 just in case... who knows kan :)

So we spent 1.5 hours at the Splash Pool... being warmed by the heated pool water. Memang best layan budak2 nih mandi...that includes Mama and Papa of course (sorry...pictures are not available for your eyes  hehehee). Done with splashing time, we had a great time enjoying few rides at the indoor theme park. Had some hot coffee at McDonalds before leaving at 9.30pm that night by cable car. No view at all as it was already dark. Same goes to the main road heading to our apartment. Thank God we are travelling in 2 cars that time or else i would have opted of staying at the Genting Hotels instead :)

End of Day1.
