ATM SST OPERATIONS: Team Effectiveness Program

Today is the day. All staff from ATM SST Operations, ETS (to be exact there are 86 of us) will be attending a 3Day2Night Team Building: Team Effectiveness Program at Philea Resort & Spa, Ayer Keroh Melaka. 

As for myself, i have been preparing and packing my stuff since the night before. Its been mmmmm let me think.... almost 10 years since my last Team Building Program during my Uni years???? OMG!!!! So excited ME i would say :)

The Preparation...

Friday evening...

The clock shows 3.45pm and bus is ready waiting for us when we are instructed to leave our office (good bye to my fellow colleagues who have to stay as they are working on shift basis). Waiting for everybody to board on the bus before we start our first day journey at exactly 4.15pm. Owhh there are two buses provided and the second bus will take its trip at 5.00pm. Even some of us have opted to drive with their own car and group of course. Whatever it is, all are so looking forward to the program as much as i do. Friday evening... what do you expect from the road traffic?? Haahaha do you get me :) However, don't really feel the slow moving traffic since everybody seems enjoying the trip by chatting... laughing... chatting... laughing... and it keeps continuing on till i am fall asleep (because i had these 2-day-in-a-row migraine huhuuuu). Suddenly i feel the bus has stop at Seremban R&R and me decided to get some water and fruit cutlets to fill up my empty stomach (didn't get to have my lunch earlier). After about 15 minutes, we continue our journey to Philea Resort & Spa, Ayer Keroh Melaka. 

We reached our abode at around 6.45pm. This Philea Resort & Spa is located just next to the Ayer Keroh Tol gate. Turn left after the tol and you'll see the big signboard showing the Resort. The front entrance is sooo nice. Everything are made from wood in such a very nature way. So calming and so green. I loike :P To be different with other Resorts, Philea Resort & Spa has all its room in a two-storey chalet types. It comes with single or twin sharing basis room. They even have a villa type with its very own private pool and jacuzzi (just to bear in mind that this villa is very costly at around RM4300 per night.... dare to reserve?? *wink* hehehee...)

Our Room...

After checking-in and received our room door card, we headed to our room and freshen up before having our dinner at the Ballroom around 8.00pm. Starving already I must say hahaaaa. Only then we realized that the team members from the second bus are yet to arrive. They reached the Resort at about 8.30pm. Must be due to the Friday massive road traffic. Pity them :( and our first activity starts at 9.30pm.

It is all about introduction, group formation, initiating group objective, group flag and of course the "HAKKA" or you may call it "War Cry". The session went on smoothly and very interesting. Class dismissed at 1130pm.
